Cupcake Delivery to Shelters in Green Bay

As the Advanced Foods students finished their semester of baking and global cuisine, we concluded the class with a world hunger unit.  In appreciation of all we have, we donated close to 300 cupcakes to the NEW Shelter and Freedom House Shelter, both in Green Bay, Wisconsin. In addition to making massive amounts of cupcakes, students also created commercials highlighting the myths of hunger; check out their work on the Advanced Foods page of my website.   

A Finale to Family Foods

Family Foods students had one last opportunity of the semester to win a cook-off and this group nailed Fettuccine Alfredo Light, a much healthier version of a traditional favorite.
