Saving Lives

Stacie Hackl, Executive Director & Community Educator, from the Breast Cancer Family Foundation shared her story of breast cancer survival and cancer reduction strategies with Family Foods & Wellness students.

Stacie provides a much needed powerful message to students about the importance of early detection and how lifestyles chosen now can impact the rest of their lives.  If you haven't done so, I highly encourage everyone to check out the Breast Cancer Family Foundation web-site for additional resources and opportunities to support their organization.

In addition, please check out the YouTube video "My Sixteen Year Old Me" below and share with your family and friends on Facebook, Twitter, and anywhere else that will help in spreading this important message of the crucial consequences connected with lack of early detection.

ProStart Invitational 2015

Both ProStart teams had awesome performances and represented Pulaski extremely well at the Wisconsin ProStart Invitational.  Our high school management team took second place in the state with their made-to-order pierogi concept.  It's always great to show off our Polish pride, especially in our food; perhaps one day we'll open this restaurant here in Pulaski :).  Please congratulate Grant Bachman, Bailey Baron, and Morgan VandenLangenberg on their 2nd place win and each receiving over $28,000 scholarships to culinary schools across the country!

Our culinary team also did an amazing job, with judge comments including having the best poached fruit in the competition, as well as outstanding teamwork & communication.  Please congratulate Emma Bestul, Emilee Hendricks, Natalie Nickerson, and Destiny Prendiville on a great performance.
